SHIN PLATE
The PU shin plate is anatomically shaped, its structure also extends under the upper to increase protection.
CLOSURES and REPLACEABLE BUCKLE SYSTEM
The upper ends with an elastic gaiter equipped with an anti-heat protection panel. The gaiter is closed with a soft PU velcro strap to prevent the entry of rocks and dirt and features a wide adjustment.The ATOJO SRS uses a 3-buckle closure system where each buckle works independently from each other, each composed of a toothed strap and a hook with micrometric adjustment memory. The buckle, strap and hook are replaceable. The buckles have only one fixed point (via a screw), which ensures easy closing allowing the boot to adapt to the leg of the rider and to provide greater comfort.
HINGE SYSTEMS
Atojo SRS has two flex points : the first hinge is positioned under the ankle, to reduce thickness and make the boot smoother and more aerodynamic on the inside. The support brace placed inside the boot has a limited range of movement to prevent hyper-extension of the ankle, of the instep and of the back tendon. This technology gives the rider greater security. The second joint, above the ankle, which works in sync with the lower hinge, improves the flexibility of the boot, making the bending movement fluid without compromising rigidity and lateral protection.
ANTI HYPEREXTENTION SYSTEMS
The boot has three anti hyperextension systems for the foot, all removable: the first is located on the first hinge , the second on the back of the boot (the bootleg leans on the ankle avoiding an extra bending backwards), the third is frontal and it is made up of an innovative system that, through a screw on a replaceable insert, allows a specific tibia flexion range and freezes if bending is excessive. A bootleg in PU, connected to the ankle strap through the second hinge, protects the back of the boot and is positioned between the upper and the lining.
CALF SECTION
The boot leg is equipped with a suede calf section cover enriched with embossed rubber inserts which, in addition to providing good grip in contact with the bike, have the function of protecting the leg from heat. The rubber inserts are also found on the inside of the ankle.
PROTECTION
The Atojo SRS plastics all have a new design. The toe of the boot is entirely wrapped in a plastic protection enhanced with a geometric design for greater grip. The boot is equipped with protection on the metatarsus: a rigid and replaceable nylon insert protects the inside of the boot in case the rider’s foot slips off the footpeg. The PU heel is shaped and specially moulded to improve foot safety in case of torsional twists and is shaped to ensure comfort and stability. For the lower buckle a spoiler has been added to deflect debris away from the buckle. The ankle panel with the central strap can be replaced by 4 screws that connect it to the boot, and is available in 2 sizes (40-45) (46-47).
SRS DOVETAIL SOLE
The SRS (Sole Replacement System) interchangeable sole has an innovative design and a revolutionary replacement system. Design and technology are patented by Sidi. The base of the soles, or boat, features a more aggressive look and is slightly higher for greater engagement with the upper. The tip and heel are fixed, while the central part, subject to greater wear, is replaceable. The tip has a special design with traction grooves for greater grip, also ideal for Enduro. The heel area has a fixed insert in soft PU that makes the boot more stable and offers increased traction against the bike. The central part of the sole is made of a rubber insert studied with a new interlocking Dovetail system and 4 screws for easy replacement. Functional design for motocross.
